TASTING NOTE
Colour

Elegant red wine of intense cherry red color with cardinal trim. Clean, bright and fairly deep.

AROMA:

Open nose with very good aromatic complexity. Dominate fresh red fruit and a wide variety of spicy notes (vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg and pink pepper). The barrel gives us some sweet notes of coffee and toffee.

TASTE:

It has a wide entrance with a very good velvety tannic structure. Great balance, charm and a lot of elegance make this wine a true reflection of Tempranillo and our Terroir.

MATCHING
Roast lamb, roast pork, cooked, small game, pasta with meat, rice with meat, mushrooms, sausages, semi-cured cheeses.
WHO CAN CONTRACT
Vineyard of the Tempranillo variety, 70% with an age between 20-40 years and 30% with more than 50 years. Manual harvest carried out in chestnut baskets of 12 kilos of capacity, meticulous and immediate transport to the winery. Incubation by gravity tank, OVI system. Cold film maceration for 2 days at 12º.C Spontaneous alcoholic fermentation at max. 29º.C 2 daily pumping over and 1 “délestage” at the end of the fermentation. Total maceration of about 17 days. Spontaneous malolactic fermentation. Aged for 12 months in new barrels of 1 wine: 60% American, 40% French. Clarification with egg white. Bottled and aged in it until completing 2 years. Alcohol (% v / v): 14.0% Residual sugar (% v / v): 1.5 g / l.

Ribera del Duero is one of the most important wine-growing regions in Spain, is located in Castilla y León and embraces a part of the Duero basin. Limited in the east by the town of San Esteban de Gormaz and in the west by Quintanilla de Onessimo, Ribera del Duero has a surface of 21000 hectares and an annual production of barely 56 million of liters.
