Colour

Clean, clear and bright. Cherry color with garnet reflections, where it has an intensity of medium - high layer, Very pleasant to the eye.

AROMA:

Nose entry where it offers us a magnificent intensity. Small aromatic journey that includes from primary to tertiary with some know-how and extraordinary harmony. Aromas of plum, ripe cherry and blackberries that blend with the lactic notes, menthol (balsamic), cocoa and vanilla, and watered by the marked minerality that characterizes the wines of Ferrer Bobet.

TASTE:

In the mouth it is presented with power and a certain creaminess, but with a freshness and elegance that makes it unique. Ripe and polished tannins will lead you to a long, wide, certainly warm and persistent finish.

MATCHING
Ideal with dishes of strong gustatory power. Meats, roasts, grilled rovellons, cannelloni, pot roast, fricandó, liver with onion, etc.
WHO CAN CONTRACT
The always awaited Ferrer Bobet demonstrates in each glass what it means to be born in a special environment, highlighting above all the immense mineral complexity of his centuries-old vineyards planted on slate slopes. The 2015 vintage offers us an explosive duet: Carignan and Grenache, the first of which is much appreciated for its contribution of color, the quality of its tannins and the excellent blend it forms with Grenache . ELABORATION: We are in front of one of the coolest areas and with greater elevation and slopes of the D.O, originating diversity of meso climates. Manual harvest in boxes of 10 kilograms of grapes from slopes and slate terraces. Grain to grain classification in double selection table and filled with gravity tanks. Fermentation in wooden and stainless steel tanks from 15 to 30 hectoliters. Malolactic transformation in French oak barrels. Aged in fine-grained, medium-roasted French oak barrels for fifteen months. Bottling without clarifying or filtering. Minimum aging in bottle of 11 months.

The Empordà appellation of origin is located in the northeastern part of Catalonia. The territory is distributed between two counties and 55 municipalities. 35 municipalities belong to the Alt Empordà and 20 are in the Baix Empordà. The average annual production is 65,000 hectoliters of wine with a planted vineyard area of approximately 2,000 hectares. At the beginning the appellation was called Empordà-Costa Brava, in 2006 the indication Costa Brava was eliminated.
