ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Château Pichon Longueville Baron is a winery in the Pauillac AOC wine region of Bordeaux (France). The wine produced was classified as one of the Seconds Crus in the Bordeaux Wine Official Classification of 1855. Chateau was earlier part of a larger estate owned by Pierre de Rauzan, with Château Pichon Longueville Comtesse Lalande. In 1850 the estate was divided into the two current Pichon estates. In 1987 the property was acquired by the French insurance company AXA, who immediately appointed Jean Michel Cazes of Château Lynch-Bages as administrator.
