Colour

At the top, shows a beautiful cherry red garnet hue. This wine is presented clean and bright.

AROMA:

The presence of ripe red fruit, strawberries from the forest (blueberries, blackberries) and a set of spicy (cocoa, liquorice ...), offers a pleasing whole and good intensity.

TASTE:

In the mouth it is balanced and round, very tasty. With good meaty and tannic structure balanced with its acidity. It has good fruit expression and a comprehensive final, and elegant.

The dishes served with duck confit, red meats, cheeses ... Very interesting with a zarzuela fish or lobster stew.

Campillo was born from a dream, to create a winery surrounded by vineyards, thus transferring the concept of Château to the land of Rioja. An architectural space that opens to the Sierra Cantabria and Laguardia. As you climb its grand staircase and pass through its doors, you will feel everything that led Julio Faustino Martínez to share, from Campillo, his two great passions: wine and architecture.

Framed by a large vineyard, the Bodegas Campillo building stands majestically, made of natural stone, with a portico with seven semicircular arches, wooden cantilevers and ashlars, its large slate staircase makes it rise to contemplate the perfect fusion between vineyards and architecture. Its interior combines tradition and modernity, luxury and sobriety, harmonizing the nobility of stone, steel, granite, slate and wood with a careful and unique aesthetic.

From the great hall you can see the five levels into which the winery is divided, vertebrates by the spiral staircase, the connecting axis of all the spaces. The beauty of the architectural forms combines the best technical conditions for the production and aging of wine.
