TASTING NOTE
Colour

Clean, clear and bright. Cherry color with garnet reflections, Intensity of medium - high layer. Very nice to look at.

AROMA:

On the nose, its unmistakable notes of red and black fruit stand out, plums, blueberries, cherries and raspberries emerge along with floral, spicy and vegetable aromas such as black peppercorns and hints of olive and undergrowth.

TASTE:

Mouth with a certain stature, where a tannin present and well harmonized is the great host. The oak is perfectly integrated, and accompanies a great finish of a fantastic breadth, silkiness and persistence.

WHO CAN CONTRACT
Bouchard Finlayson is located in the Walker Bay wine region, one of the most famous areas in the Western Cape. The property, of 125 hectares, has 22 ha of vineyards. The vineyards are surrounded by a wild, treasured area: the Fynbos, with 330 indigenous flower species, is the smallest and richest flower garden in the world. Why the name Hannibal? Legend has it that about 2000 years ago the person in charge of transporting the grapes from France to Italy was an elephant, his name? Nothing more and nothing less than Hannibal. It is not known if making terminology to Anibal Barca, who remembering one of his best military exploits crossed the Alps with 38 elephants to conquer Italy from Hispania and flanking the Pyrenees The name of the wine is nothing more than a dedication to the one who was responsible for transporting these precious grapes from one country to another.
