INFORMATION OF INTEREST An/2 Magnum
Colour: Beautiful ruby garnet colour.
Aroma: Aromas of eucalyptus, spices (pepper), leather, ripe fruit and cocoa.
Taste: Fluid, balanced, tasty, silky, aromatic, fresh. Balsamic, mineral and final touch with a slight feeling fresh vegetable.
Its structure enables it to combine with the meat dishes more demanding.
Ànima Negra was born spontaneously and with the intention of making wine for own consumption, using milk tanks that had a partner. At that time we did not own vineyard and native variety "callet" was not appreciated by the developers, so it was the only option to access to buy grapes. The first year came up with two barrels of wine.
Currently we have leased or controlled vineyards in the area of Felanitx, where is the winery. These days the vineyards team is made up of some 150 small parcels within a radius of 10 km of the cave with the exception of 5 vineyards in the west of the island.
Until 2000 the wines from the cellar were a blend of Callet, some Fogoneu and mantonegro with cabernet sauvignon, from this moment is produced AN and AN Son Negre with native varieties, basically callet and AN/2 which will remain a mixture.
In 2002, just the conversion of the farm reaching sufficient capacity to meet our team of vineyards.
