Clean, clear and bright. Maroon color with ruby reflections and medium to high intensity. Very nice to see.
Entry into the nose where is a whole aroma concert. Black and red fruits with floral touches, such as cherries, plums, cassis and violet harmonize with each other. Good complexity in the glass, where it is constantly evolving offering subtle touches of leather and musk.
Character and personality is what defines this great Syrah. Voluminous and fleshy in the passage through the mouth, where are perfectly firm and polished tannins. Precise, elegant and persistent finish.
The Empordà appellation of origin is located in the northeastern part of Catalonia. The territory is distributed between two counties and 55 municipalities. 35 municipalities belong to the Alt Empordà and 20 are in the Baix Empordà. The average annual production is 65,000 hectoliters of wine with a planted vineyard area of approximately 2,000 hectares. At the beginning the appellation was called Empordà-Costa Brava, in 2006 the indication Costa Brava was eliminated.
