Colour: Old yellow with copper tonalities.
Aroma: Delicate, subtle, captivating. Mix of mellow notes, peach in syrup, dried fruits and candied lemon peel.
Taste: Glycerid in palate, good balance between sweetness and acidity. Reminds of iced fruit and elegant toasted nuances. Sweet, pleasant and long end.
Qualified as a Second Cru at the Official Classification of the Bourdeax Wines that took place at Bordeaux in 1855, the cellar is located on the Barsac apellation (Bordeaux). This region, along with Sauternes, is famous all over the world for the elaboration of their famous white wines, characterized by the balance of sweetness with the zest of acidity. The name Védrines commemorate the Védrines Knights, who owned the domains until 1846. Since the mid-XIX century, the owners are the Castejá family. The harvested surface is composed by an 80% of semillón, 15% of White Sauvignon and the remain 5% of Muscadelle.
