Clean, clear and bright. Pale yellow color with grayish reflections. Very nice to look at.

On the nose, you are surrounded by a spectacular aromatic intensity. The fruit scent stands out above all, like the plum, apricot, peach and small contributions of the yellow cherry, where it manages to balance with smoky and spicy touches.

Mouthwash where its weight and volume will not leave you indifferent, palate with a pronounced texture but that will develop with an extraordinary balance and freshness. Long and persistent finish.

Niepoort is a winery founded in 1842 directed by the Niepoort family. They have had the collaboration of the Noriega to make their wines for many years. It performs traditional Portuguese techniques such as grape treading, fermentation in cement tanks or aging in pipes, 550-liter port aging barrels, and at the same time it has new technologies that allow it to work the grapes with great care. It has vineyards in different locations, some over 100 years old, and it has its aging warehouse in Vila Nova de Gaia. The grapes of the Niepoort Conciso Tinto are vinified in a winery with half of the grape stemmed. Macerates long but without excessive extraction. It ferments for about 25 days and aged for about 20 months in a large wooden barrel of about 2,500 liters. It is bottled without filtering or clarifying. Niepoort Conciso Tinto is a fine and elegant Dão, without heavy fruit, which shows all the potential of an old vineyard.
