Colour

Pale yellow, very transparent, bright.

AROMA:

Of remarkable intensity on the nose, in the first place the memories of white and green, young, fresh fruits ( apple, pear, peach ) stand out, a fruity character above all other sensations, subtly floral aromas: white flowers.

TASTE:

Character, light, smooth, easy to drink, a pleasant wine, with interesting and fruity notes, a light, dry finish, some acid, pleasant note.

Dry and light white, ideal as an aperitif at all hours. It pairs perfectly with fish and seafood, cooked without masking (griddle, steam), or even with not very forceful rices, such as a banda rice.

The winery, which produced its first vintage in 1970, is today one of the most relevant in Rioja, thanks to the contribution of all those who appreciate quality wine throughout the world. El Coto de Rioja has been the creator of the modern style of Rioja wines, based on the Tempranillo grape, fruity, soft and elegant.

Elaboration:
Grapes from the Rioja Alta and the vineyard itself ( Finca Carbonera ), the highest in the entire DOC Rioja ( 840 m. )
The grapes are instantly refrigerated in an inert atmosphere, and from that moment, the entire production process is kept at a very low temperature to obtain the maximum quality and fine aromas.
The varieties are Viura, Verdejo and Sauvignon Blanc.
