Colour

Pale yellow with greenish and golden highlights, clean and bright, light in intensity, as befits a young Chablis.

AROMA:

Fresh and mineral, with citrus (lemon, orange), green apple and white fruit, over a base of flint and chalk, with a floral touch and a herbaceous note, with no oak presence.

TASTE:

Dry, vertical and taut, with marked acidity that makes it very moreish, light-to-medium body and a saline, clean, crystalline finish with a citrus return.

Pairs with oysters and shellfish, white fish grilled or with butter and lemon, sushi and sashimi, white meat in a creamy sauce, and fresh goat cheese or Comté

A Chablis AOC Village, 100% Chardonnay, from northern Burgundy on Kimmeridgian marl and limestone soils, made in stainless steel with lees ageing (no oak), from Chartron et Trébuchet, a négociant founded in 1984 in Puligny-Montrachet and now owned by Maison Martenot.
