Colour

Golden, brightly, some flash of lemon straw colour.

AROMA:

Aromas of grapefruit, orange, white flower elderberry, the subtle smell of the forest wood box and the vineyard, rounded to the references minerals of limestone and silica. An excellent balance between fullness and elegance. High aromatic power.

TASTE:

Complex, very interesting taste, well structured, feeling of oiliness, long at the end, is still alive. Reminiscences of stone fruit, marzipan.

Fish in general, both baked and grilled, or steamed seafood. Fun with Asian cuisine, dishes prepared with spices or Japanese style. It may be interesting with a good fondue cheese.

Domaine de Ladoucette is located in the Loire Valley, specifically in Pouilly-Fumé. This Domaine also produces other references in other areas of France, Italy and Switzerland. During the 1970s, the company entered Sancerre, Chablis, Vouvray and Chinon. Its wines are produced under numerous brands, in addition to Domaine de Ladoucette, as well as Baron de L wine and Count Lafond Pouilly-Fumé. These include Marc Brédif (Vouvray), La Poussie (Sancerre), as well as Regnard and Albert Pic in Chablis. Outside France, the company runs Domaine de Mont-le-Vieux in Tartegnin, in the Swiss corner of Vaud. And they also own Tenute del Barone, in Tuscany's Alta Maremma.
The original estate dates back to 1787, when Count Lafond bought the estate from an illegitimate daughter of King Louis XV of France. It is now owned by her descendants.
