Colour

Clean, limpid and bright. Straw yellow color with golden reflections. Very nice to look at.

AROMA:

With an entry in the nose of medium intensity, the ripe fruit is delicate and intense where it fuses perfectly with certain floral, tropical and mellow aromas. And with a background with balsamic touches and very harmonic toasting. I balance more than personified.

TASTE:

Very pleasant step by mouth, with a smooth, unctuous and very warm step. Fruit and wood very well balanced and with a point of acidity, which gives it the necessary freshness. Long and persistent finish.

Bàrbara Forés El Quintà is a white wine produced by the Bárbara Forés winery in Gandesa (Tarragona), D.O. Terra Alta.

 Bárbara Forés is a family winery that dates back to the 19th century, when Rafael Ferrer Forés started making wine at the end of the 19th century. Currently, Carmen Ferrer and her husband Manuel Sanmartín are in charge of the winery.

Bárbara Forés has 22 hectares of vineyard, that allows them to combine altitude and orientation, the plains and slopes, the shady areas and the solanas. And together with a crop with natural products and organic fertilizers, they get their own grapes adapted to the demands and characteristics of the different farms.

 Bàrbara Forés El Quintà is a wine made with Garnacha Blanca from two small farms with different characteristics and orientations, with sandy soils and silica sediments. The strains of these farms are over 60 years old.

After the manual harvest, he makes a film maceration for 24 hours. The fermentation is in French oak barrels of 500 liters. The aging is 6 months in the same barrels with lees.

 Bàrbara Forés El Quintà is a mature, intense and elegant wine. Highlights the aroma of ripe white fruit, floral notes, on a toasted background. The palate is fatty, long and dry.
