TASTING NOTE
Colour

It has an intense yellow color, with golden reflections.

AROMA:

Aged on lees in 500-liter butts for about a year, it is a sweet and dense wine. At the same time it offers citrus notes such as candied lemon, with hints of yellow-fleshed fruits such as banana, pineapple or passion fruit.

TASTE:

In the mouth it has an iodized touch and a slight salinity, but above all it is a very round wine with notes of butter and vanilla. It is subtle and full of harmony and balance. It is an exuberant, tasty and long wine.

MATCHING
It perfectly complements appetizers, grilled fish, seafood, white meat and charcuterie, as well as cheese, especially goat cheese.
WHO CAN CONTRACT
The Gros family has been established in Vosne since 1830. Anne has been at the helm of her father's winery, Domaine François Gros, since the late 1980s. The winery is located in the Hautes-Côtes, the wind-influenced mountain slopes above the southeast-facing village of Vosne-Romanée, and belongs to Burgundy's Côte de Nuits. Today, Anne Gros is well sought after by collectors around the world, as she has become one of the best winemakers in Burgundy today. Her goal is for each of her crus to faithfully reflect their terroir, offering richer aromas and silkier textures and rounder mouthfeel. His chardonnay is planted at a higher elevation than the pinot noir. There, the soils are deeper and more fertile. The plants are twenty years old. The grapes are harvested by hand and fermented with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. The bâtonnage is carried out in new and old oak barrels, which will provide creaminess and an elegant silky texture.
