On the nose, it is a complex Xarel·lo full of nuances. Aromas of honey and nuts, on a spicy and balsamic background. It should be noted that the fruit is on the second side, as evidenced by the notes of apricot and pear jam.
On the palate with the freshness and acidity we could expect from a Xarel·lo. Concentrated, unctuous on the palate with sweet and fleshy tannins that will make it a real delight to be able to taste it. Long and persistent finish.
The Empordà appellation of origin is located in the northeastern part of Catalonia. The territory is distributed between two counties and 55 municipalities. 35 municipalities belong to the Alt Empordà and 20 are in the Baix Empordà. The average annual production is 65,000 hectoliters of wine with a planted vineyard area of approximately 2,000 hectares. At the beginning the appellation was called Empordà-Costa Brava, in 2006 the indication Costa Brava was eliminated.
