TASTING NOTE
Colour

These wines are very intense in color and depth, cherry red with violet tones

AROMA:

It is broad, very clean, expressive and elegant on the nose, with a great fruit intensity subtle bud and high quality.

TASTE:

It has a great structure and a good tannic presence in the mouth and is persistent, fresh and very pleasant to the palate. Floral tips in retronasal.mesos.

WHO CAN CONTRACT
As is the case of all TEMPOS Vega Sicilia wines, the harvest is by hand with the fruit being placed in 12-kg boxes and grapes, once in the winery, they are left in a cold chamber for 12 hours in order to preserve their fruit intensity. Along with the selection on the wine, a double sorting is carried out in the winery. This first removes those bunches that may have been wrongly picked in the field and the second focuses on the substandard berries that are found on optimum bunches. A cold maceration is carried out for 5 days prior to fermentation in oak wood vats

The Empordà appellation of origin is located in the northeastern part of Catalonia. The territory is distributed between two counties and 55 municipalities. 35 municipalities belong to the Alt Empordà and 20 are in the Baix Empordà. The average annual production is 65,000 hectoliters of wine with a planted vineyard area of approximately 2,000 hectares. At the beginning the appellation was called Empordà-Costa Brava, in 2006 the indication Costa Brava was eliminated.
