Colour

Clean, clear and bright. Cherry color with violet reflections, where it has a layer of medium intensity. Very nice to look at.

AROMA:

On the nose, it has a good "bouquet" of wild fruits with slightly spicy touches followed by subtle toasted and smoky contributions as a result of its aging in barrels.

TASTE:

Mouth where you are surprised by a very marked freshness. Fruity with sweet tannins and a subtly marked sweetness. With a long, smooth and balanced aftertaste.

Ideal to accompany red meats, cheeses, sausages and stews.

The Conreria Scala Dei was founded in 1997, where it was born from the will and enthusiasm of a group of people historically linked to the Priorat and with a desire to make known to the world the magnificent wines made in the Priorat. It was, from the old property of the stately home of the Rialp, that modernized its facilities for making wines and thus, to share the historical heritage of this wonderful land and its people in the magnificent around Scala Dei and the Priorat. It should be noted that the winery was called the Monastery of Scala Dei in the Priorat region, where in 1194 the monks of the Carthusian order planted the first vineyards.

With a careful selection of their vineyards and a titanic effort behind every 130,000 bottles they produce annually, they make these wines a reality with the undisputed Priorat seal.
