Very suitable for stewed meats and beef with mushrooms. Ideal for grilled meats, especially lamb chops. Suitable for baked pork cheeks.

Dominus Estate, is a California wine estate producing Bordeaux style blends, owned by Christian Moueix. The winery is located in Yountville within the Napa Valley AVA. Over the years, Dominus Estate has had many notable winemakers and consultant involved in the winery's production. These include Philippe Melka who had previously interned at Château Haut-Brion and Château Cheval Blanc before being invited by Christian Moueix to work at Dominus. From an estate of 50 ha, the vineyard area extends 44 ha in 14 blocks, with some presence of phylloxera-resistant St. George rootstock from the Inglenook period, the grape varieties are 87% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Petit Verdot, and 5% Cabernet Franc.
