Colour

Clean, clear and bright. Purple color with violet reflections. Medium layer intensity. Very nice to look at.

AROMA:

The nose highlights a range of floral and fruit aromas, with blackberries, cherries, raspberries, blueberries, plums, violets and blackcurrants. Good complexity, as the minutes show subtle smoky touches and Moka, which will undoubtedly become the protagonists of the organoleptic experience.

TASTE:

Mouthwash with good power and volume. Firm palate but with even very elegant tannins that give it an end of a persistence and fantastic kindness.

Perfect with roasted tomatoes and peppers stuffed with rice and minced meat, meat or vegetable lasagna, grilled chicken skewers with vegetables, and of course with fish that is certainly fatty and strong in flavor; like a grilled turbot, or a baked monkfish or grilled with potatoes.

Lowburn Ferry is a family winery that produces wines in the Central Otago region (New Zealand) as a result of the identification of the winemaking potential of the area by Roger and Jean Gibson.

Currently, the winery achieves both national and international awards. Central Otago is surrounded by mountains, has continental summers and long, cold winters, the perfect combination for growing grapes.

It ages for 10 months in French oak barrels of which 29% are new.
