Lodovico is a rare and unexpected blend of the Tenuta di Biserno. An extraordinary wine that can only be found in small quantities and not in all vintages, in the most exclusive wine retailers. The vineyards have been planted with a density of 6,500 plants / ha and the planting system is spurred cordon. Throughout the year, this vineyard is managed with a lot of passion and attention. There are currently five Lodovico vintages produced: 2007, 2008, 2011, 2012 and 2013. With an average of 6,000 bottles per year.

The Empordà appellation of origin is located in the northeastern part of Catalonia. The territory is distributed between two counties and 55 municipalities. 35 municipalities belong to the Alt Empordà and 20 are in the Baix Empordà. The average annual production is 65,000 hectoliters of wine with a planted vineyard area of approximately 2,000 hectares. At the beginning the appellation was called Empordà-Costa Brava, in 2006 the indication Costa Brava was eliminated.
