Colour

Clean and bright Red cherry color with certain bluish reflections, Medium to high intensity. Very nice to look at.

AROMA:

Entry into the nose with complexity and a certain intensity. It shows shyly, since it is reserved and does not show all its virtues, but with a few minutes in the glass appear balsamic tones and its expression of fruit, accompanied by an elegance that will hardly leave you indifferent.

TASTE:

Freshly and elegantly, long-distance tannins surround you that accompany you with exceptional persistence and minerality. And where the red and black fruit is awakened with all its fullness. In short, a fantastic wine with a lot of evolution ahead.

Ideal with dishes of high gustative potency, perfect with grilled red meats and spoon dishes.

Speaking of Descendants of J. Palacios is talking about Ricardo Pérez and his uncle Álvaro Palacios, both committed to the things they believe in, among them the rationalization in the treatment of the vineyard and the processes of wine production, which led them to be one of the pioneers in Spain to apply the integral biodynamics, which they administer to the heart of this Bierzo project, to their 30 hectares of vineyards distributed in almost 200 plots with old vines and very sloping soils, where they combine the organic and the immaterial in the permanent search for the definition and purity of its parcelarios wines. The great fine wine of the area boasts the promising vintage that is expected.

The Bierzo wines are booming. A denomination marked by its small-scale nature, with very divided plots, very old vines, the artisan work of small wineries and the unique character of its queen variety, the Mencía, which offers fresh, fruity and very delicate wines. Although red wine from Bierzo is the best known, Bierzo also produces white wine and rosé wine. If the Mencía is the red variety with more character of the Bierzo, the Godello is for the production of white wine. A variety with great aromatic potential and an excellent balance between alcohol and acidity.
Still and the great potential of El Bierzo, its current boom would not be understood without two proper names: Raúl Pérez and Ricardo Pérez, two great winemakers who in a short time have managed to earn the praise of international critics by making great Bierzo wines.
