TASTING NOTE
Colour

Sumptuous dark cherry red colour, pleasant vigorous.

AROMA:

The high concentration of 2004 Romanée-Conti makes it thanks oxygenation opening his aromatic range of plums, raspberries and flowers that develop into smoke and land aromas, all presented with the elegance that only possess the greatest wines.

TASTE:

The mouth feel is oily texture but really smooth and wide. Able to saturate the palate in the aftertaste, the tannins are buffered by the wonderful depth that this wine based on pinot noir can offer.

MATCHING
Undoubtedly, this is one of the wines which they don’t need any companion, since its intensity and the fantastic experience that represents a glass of it enough yet, but also it will be a perfect companion of the best gourmet dishes.
WHO CAN CONTRACT
We are facing a 1.8-acre vineyard in the heart of the Côte de Nuits - under the name of La Romanée-Conti- whose boundaries have remained unchanged for the past 4 centuries. Posted questioned in the 50s, because of the need to replant the vineyard, the property has been recovered soon noble height and visibility.
From the selection of varieties to the bottled without air or filtration, nothing is neglected, to get great wines of ageing: long fermentation and ageing in new oak barrels. The man's hand here is, therefore, omnipresent, but here are fond of saying that "wines are those made alone." In addition, it performs a selection based on the vintage: for this reason did not turn out the Romanée-Conti in 1950 and the Echézeaux in 1965.
The property belongs to two families and is directed by their representatives Aubert de Villaine and Henry Frédéric Roch, the latter's successor Marcelle (Lalou) Bize-Leroy in 1992.
