TASTING NOTE
Colour

Captivating bright, intense red.

AROMA:

On the nose, it displays a wide range of nuances dominated by notes of red fruit intertwined with spices and balsamic touches that evoke freshness and depth. The notes of the barrel appear in the background of this wine, leaving the spotlight to the uniqueness of this Monastrell plot.

TASTE:

On the palate, the wine displays a pleasant attack that flows towards the end of the mouth with an explosion of fresh fruit and great silkiness in the tannin that is fine, creamy and melting. This wine stands out for its weight and tension in the mouth that make the wine express itself with great elegance, fluidity and persistence. The notes of chocolate and liquorice remain in the aftertaste, leaving the spotlight to some elegant notes of fruit that demonstrate the uniqueness of this wine and its plot of origin.

WHO CAN CONTRACT
Monastrell from the unique plot "La Cruz", located in El Rodri-guillo at 670 meters above sea level with a south-east orientation. A vineyard with more than 50 years, planted in bush and strictly dry land, whose roots grow in limestone soils with little organic matter influenced by the Mediterranean climate and low rainfall. All this gives rise to very small, smooth berries, with great aroma and soft tannins that mark the uniqueness of this plot.

In the first week of October and manually, the best bunches are selected, using boxes of no more than 5 kg that are immediately transported to the winery located just 2 km away. These grapes are passed through a selection table before being destemmed and then moved to open tanks where after a slight maceration, fermentation with native yeasts takes place. Finally, the wine ages in French oak barrels for 10 months where it undergoes malolactic fermentation. Limited and certified production of 15,000 bottles
