In the nose the intensity in aromas surrounds you from the first moment, where the ripe and computed black fruits occupy the wide aromatic range. Next, and with the minutes of ideal aeration, the catalog of tertiary and empiric aromatic aromas will be opened, where coffee, toast, cocoa and spices (licorice) will merge in a perfect elegance.
On the palate with the same intensity as it did on the nose, it is a wine with a lot of flavor and a power worthy of its place of origin, where concentrated and sweet tannins will develop with an almost chewable elegance and opulence. Long, wide and persistent finish.
The Empordà appellation of origin is located in the northeastern part of Catalonia. The territory is distributed between two counties and 55 municipalities. 35 municipalities belong to the Alt Empordà and 20 are in the Baix Empordà. The average annual production is 65,000 hectoliters of wine with a planted vineyard area of approximately 2,000 hectares. At the beginning the appellation was called Empordà-Costa Brava, in 2006 the indication Costa Brava was eliminated.
