Colour

Bright ruby red but very dark, his rim is a beautiful purple.

AROMA:

The Chateau Beaucaillou, usually called Ducru-Beaucaillou, name of its former owner M. Ducru. His story, like many large Crus, dates from the late seventeenth to early eighteenth century. At the time of the Revolution, M. Bergeron was the owner. M. Nathaniel Johnston, who belongs to a famous family of Bordeaux wine merchants buy the domain to the Ducru-Ravez in 1866.
