When its analyzed in the nose, there are pure aromas of blackberry, blueberry, raspberry, coffee and minerals.
Wonderfully dense without being heavy, with an energy that penetrates black fruit and mineral flavours, tannins are incredibly sweet and very thin. Its stay in a barrel is only the beginning of its evolution, as the complexity of this wine will be able to take over a long period of time.
The Empordà appellation of origin is located in the northeastern part of Catalonia. The territory is distributed between two counties and 55 municipalities. 35 municipalities belong to the Alt Empordà and 20 are in the Baix Empordà. The average annual production is 65,000 hectoliters of wine with a planted vineyard area of approximately 2,000 hectares. At the beginning the appellation was called Empordà-Costa Brava, in 2006 the indication Costa Brava was eliminated.
