TASTING NOTE
Colour

Clean, bright, ruby red in color with intense purple trims.

AROMA:

On the nose, remarkable aromatic intensity, frank, a pleasant fragrance of ripe fruits, blueberries, currants together with brushstrokes of undergrowth: rosemary, thyme.

TASTE:

A warm entry, good acidity, with ripe tannins and elegant red fruit, balsamic and mineral notes. A wine with a lot of life, persistent, modern, up-to-date, tasty, a wine that can delight and surprise you. A wine with body and soul.

MATCHING
We consider an aging wine, with structure and taste power. Local cuisine, Mediterranean cuisine. with a tomato salad with tuna and basil oil. Ideal with mushrooms, also with a mushroom lasagna or butifarra de perol. Fun cooking with flowers and aromatic herbs. With braised meats "Back of lamb with Mediterranean herbs" in the oven.
WHO CAN CONTRACT
Project where different sectors are involved, the world of music and poetry with Pep Sala, author of the famous song "Boig per Tu". On the other hand, Vinyes Doménech, wine makers recognized at Monsant. Finally, also, the world of specialized distribution, with three important companies in our country.
It is a wine mainly from Garnatxa with calcareous clay soils. Alcoholic fermentation at a temperature below 29 ºC. 6 months in French oak barrels.

Wines reds designation of origin D.O. Montsant
The denomination of Origin Montsant was created in 2001, comprised by the cellars from the Falset zone that previously were included at the denomination of Origin Tarragona. From 28 wineries at the beginning to the current 59 we can explain the enormous growth of the appellation Montsant in just a few years. The production zone is mostly located at the Priorat region and in lower proportion at the “Ribera d’Ebre” zone. A remarkable fact is the cohabitation between the huge cooperatives and the familiar cellars, which generate a production of more than 10 millions of Kg each year, in a total surface of 2.000 hectares. The 70% of the volume is exported to other countries such as Germany and US.
