The nose has intense aromas of red and black fruit (raspberries, blackberries, figs, currants), which are perfectly harmonized with the majestic touches of oak, violet florals and mint balsamic.
Very harmonious on the palate. On the palate with subtle and perfectly balanced tannins. Retronasal with spicy aromas. Long, warm and persistent finish.
The Empordà appellation of origin is located in the northeastern part of Catalonia. The territory is distributed between two counties and 55 municipalities. 35 municipalities belong to the Alt Empordà and 20 are in the Baix Empordà. The average annual production is 65,000 hectoliters of wine with a planted vineyard area of approximately 2,000 hectares. At the beginning the appellation was called Empordà-Costa Brava, in 2006 the indication Costa Brava was eliminated.
