TASTING NOTE
Colour
Clean, clear and bright. Cherry red with violet highlights. It has a middle layer intensity. Very nice to see.
AROMA:
In the nose, it is complexity in its maximum state. It fills the senses with its abysmal range of shades of fruit, where it is perfectly balanced with hints of toast. In the glass, it is a wine with constant evolution, where its vivacity and freshness are the main hallmark of this great house.
TASTE:
Entry into a dense mouth, where the taste buds are filled with a myriad of creamy and fruity sensations. Very well integrated tannins that make the passage through the mouth is tasty and with an elegance and balance as only a large signature could be as Arzuaga D.O. Ribera del Duero.
MATCHING
It's a perfect wine to pair with a myriad of dishes and flavors. Sausages, barbecue meat, grilled vegetables with sauce and pasta dishes with sauces.
WHO CAN CONTRACT
Founded in the early 1990's by the Arzuaga-Navarro family, the wineries that bear their name are an example of dedication and passion for the land and the wine. Florentino Arzuaga likes the horizons of Castile where there are still spaces where nature and animals live free of disturbance. There, and near a silent Duero, Florentino bought an estate that, due to its size, has its own horizon. Then came the vines, the cellar and then the wine; a black man liked it: with a skeleton but elegant, round and complex at the same time. Florentino Arzuaga brings in the spirit of the entrepreneurial tenacity but with a sensitivity to aesthetics and perfection. As well as a simple and timid man, he is also able to place a red wine with his last name in the most sumptuous wine list; and that soon. The winery rises near the Duero and adorns a road as Castilian as the one that connects Soria with Valladolid. A song in stone, solid and rustic with monastic evocation by its arches, towers on the sides and, in the center, the bell tower crowned by the wind vane. Outside the stone and in the warm elm wood they welcome the visitor and prepare their spirits to try some special wines.
When they reach the optimum ripeness point, the grapes are harvested in 15Kg boxes, then passed through a selection table and destemmed until they are embedded in stainless steel tanks, where after a few days cold maceration. at about 27ºC. Aged for 16 months in barrels, 50% French oak and 50% American oak, making it a fine and subtle wine.
