Not had chance to try the bourbon yet but know I like the regular small batch and single barrel. Delivery was prompt and well packaged this time, had a couple of breakages in past but always dealt with swiftly and replacement sent. Excellent price for this bottle.
The Empordà appellation of origin is located in the northeastern part of Catalonia. The territory is distributed between two counties and 55 municipalities. 35 municipalities belong to the Alt Empordà and 20 are in the Baix Empordà. The average annual production is 65,000 hectoliters of wine with a planted vineyard area of approximately 2,000 hectares. At the beginning the appellation was called Empordà-Costa Brava, in 2006 the indication Costa Brava was eliminated.
