X MUSE is the first blended barley vodka inspired by Scottish spirit-making traditions and contemporary art. It is made from two heritage barley varieties, Plumage Archer and Maris Otter, which are distilled separately and then blended in precise proportions to create a smooth, rich and complex character. The water used comes from an ancient aquifer at Bonnington Estate, in the heart of Jupiter Artland in Scotland. During the final stages of production, part of the liquid rests on amethyst crystals, in a process inspired by the work of artist Anya Gallaccio.
