Intense, clean and bright straw yellow color.
This year we are faced with a wine of great aromatic expression, well matured, which embraces us as a welcome. There are hints of ripe banana and pineapple, quince and roasted nuts, vanilla and sourdough.
When tasted, it reveals itself markedly Empordà. It is exuberant and intense, enveloping and sweet. On the palate it is voluminous and imposing. The aftertaste lengthens and, together with the acidity and the timid salinity that it shows at the end, reminds us that it is blatantly Mediterranean.
The Empordà appellation of origin is located in the northeastern part of Catalonia. The territory is distributed between two counties and 55 municipalities. 35 municipalities belong to the Alt Empordà and 20 are in the Baix Empordà. The average annual production is 65,000 hectoliters of wine with a planted vineyard area of approximately 2,000 hectares. At the beginning the appellation was called Empordà-Costa Brava, in 2006 the indication Costa Brava was eliminated.
