TASTING NOTE
Colour

It has an intense straw yellow color, bright and limpid. Dense and deep, balanced and structured, vibrant and lively, a classic Grand Cru.

AROMA:

It is a wine of dense and intense aromas, persistent and deep. At the same time, it has great balance and structure. It is vibrant and electric. It has all the profile of a classic Grand Cru.

TASTE:

On the palate, the fruit is enormously expressive. It is very fresh and vibrant, even with its considerable aging. The minerality is its backbone, a characteristic that makes it long, intense and tremendously complex thanks to its ripe notes.

MATCHING
This wine would create elegant harmonies with fish with a high fat content, such as oily fish, salmon, turbot; with Italian cuisine; and also with seafood, creamy cheeses and Iberian cured meats.
WHO CAN CONTRACT
Simon Bize Corton Charlemagne is the fruit of a vineyard located in the westernmost part of the Corton peat bog, at the top of the slope adjacent to Pernand Vergelesses. A massive selection of vines was made and planted in 1938. The terroir and exposure provide the perfect conditions for the roots to develop their richness, power and minerality. This wine comes from two micro-plots of 0.10Ha each.
