Colour

Clear yellow color, greenish reflections, bright.

AROMA:

Good intensity, green-citric fruit, aromatic herbs. Vegetal memories with a lightly note of white fruit.

TASTE:

Considerable entrance in mouth, light, fruity with notes of citrus, grapefruit, green apple over a floral background. Dry end, pleasant.

Good partner for fresh summer salads with fruit, fish dishes, steamed seafood. Sensational with fried fish and "tapas".

Although it is true that the origins of the vineyards in Can Vendrell are from the medieval times, it was not until 1903 when the Albet family installed in the property. Joan Albet i Rovirosa was who replanted the land after the phylloxera. After the replantation labor he became the manager of the 210 hectares, 90 of them exclusively dedicated to the wine production. Nowadays, the 4th generation, led by Josep Mª Albet i Noya, introduced the ecologic harvesting, focused in the limitation of sulphur at a levels much lower than a traditional cellar. This fact forced them to work at a higher higienic levels than a conventional winery. However, once again, the key for the elaboration of high quality wines is in the raw material: the grape.
