TASTING NOTE
Colour

To the view it has a very pale lemon yellow tone.

AROMA:

Pear, apple and even peach on the nose with a rather unexpected intensity due to its youth. It is a new style of Bâtard, vibrant and dense at the same time. It reminds of some dried fruits such as nuts, and also of white flowers, rose petals and acacia, with a discreet smoky aroma.

TASTE:

It is a complex wine, with a lot of structure and full body, which will remain on the palate in a very lively way, thanks to its acidity and, at the same time, very mineral texture. On the palate we will also find elegance and concentration of a long scale of aromas, all of them of superb depth and with an extremely long finish. It is a Bâtard of great class and finesse, more than a traditional style Bâtard, powerful and full of energy.

MATCHING
This white Burgundy will pair perfectly with fresh goat cheese, with charcuterie products, with dishes based on potatoes "al caliu" and baked, and especially if it is au gratin.
WHO CAN CONTRACT
Founded in 1970 by Marc Colin and his wife Michele, Domaine Marc Colin has 15 hectares on 26 appellations between St. Aubin, Chassagne, Puligny and Santenay. Some blocks have been owned by the Colin family for more than a century. Except for St. Aubin, which is a vineyard on a plain, the rest is located on a slope. Currently the second generation are the owners of the Domaine. The youngest son started his own project in 2005. The organic farming to cultivate the oldest plots on clay-limestone soils are the most characteristic factors of this winery. Their white wines are usually fresh thanks to the acidity, as well as the reds are characterized by an elegant and silky texture, with a lot of fruit presence and a subtle touch of oak. They make 70% white wine and the rest red.
