White Gerisena Magnum
INFORMATION OF INTEREST White Gerisena Magnum 2018
TASTING NOTE
Colour: Yellow, bright and clear.
Aroma: Intense aromas of fleshy white fruits (peach, apricot, ...), orange blossom with a balsamic touch of fennel and mountain herbs with hints of vanilla, toffee and toasted.
Taste: Broad, unctuous with a long and complex aftertaste, very balanced. A wine for lovers of different but harmonious whites. To break with all the stereotypes and a little transgressor.
MATCHING
Ideal to pair with cheeses, fish and white meats. The perfect choice for great occasions, where you have to enjoy a great glass of wine without haste.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Located in Garriguella (Girona) and surrounded by the most unique and characteristic landscape of our land, we find the Gerisena Winery.
Wine made from grapes harvested manually at its optimum ripeness and health status, from old vines over 50 years of high mountain selected for their organoleptic potential.
Before fermenting the must, the grape skin maceration is carried out at low temperature for a few hours in order to extract the primary aromas of ripe fruit.
Later, in the must a maceration is carried out on low-temperature slops for a week to extract all the aromatic potential.
Finally, it is vinified at controlled temperature and a part of the must ends the fermentation and subsequent aging in new French oak barrels for 3 months.
