TASTING NOTE
Colour

It is green golden in color.

AROMA:

It has spectacularly perfumed aromas of great beauty. Defined by its lively structure, this white presents flavors of lime blossom, peach, citronella and spice. Fresh peach and pear notes mingle with notions of oatmeal, pastry cream and flowers such as acacia and honeysuckle. Its intensity is fantastic and enjoys medium-bodied fragrances, which then transform into very refined tastes on the palate, all wrapped in a saline finish.

TASTE:

On the palate it is rich yet elegant, with sumptuous fruit concentration, vibrant acidity and a fantastic creamy texture. It is medium to full-bodied, textured, with good acidity and a long, saline finish. Bottle aging will favor it and make it easier for it to integrate all these aromas no doubt.

MATCHING
Ideal to accompany a truffled octopus, a fillet of sole with ceps or an American-style lobster.
WHO CAN CONTRACT
The Leflaive family has been rooted in Puligny Montrachet since 1717. In the 20th century, Joseph Leflaive (1870-1953), a descendant of the founder, Claude Leflaive, gradually acquired parcels of exceptional 1er Cru and Grand Cru vineyards, mainly in the village of Puligny-Montrachet, and was one of the forerunners of bottling on the domaine (mis en bouteille au domaine); Domaine Leflaive began exporting to the United States in the early 1930s. Entrepreneurial and creative, in 1985 Olivier started his own business, focusing solely on quality, buying grapes and managing vineyards, with a team led by Olivier Leflaive himself. In 1995, Olivier Leflaive, in agreement with his family, left Domaine Leflaive to concentrate on Maison Olivier Leflaive. Today, Maison Olivier Leflaive controls almost 30 hectares of vineyards located mainly in Puligny-Montrachet, Chassagne-Montrachet, Meursault and Pommard. Since 2010, Maison Olivier Leflaive has regained ownership of legendary vineyards managed by Domaine Leflaive following the expiration of an 18-year lease to the Domaine.
