Colour: Clean, clear and bright. Straw yellow with slightly golden highlights. Very nice to see.
Aroma: In the nose, it is subtlety and complexity. Memories of apple and hints of ripe peach are linked with the unmistakable and seductive notes of tropical fruit; where papaya, pineapple and paraguay express each other with an almost perfect balance. To finish and to make it all more harmonious, we must point out the subtle (but not least) touches of vanilla, this intoxicating aroma that comes from staying in French oak barrels.
Taste: Taste and sweet mouth, good complexity, creaminess and creaminess on the palate, where without a doubt, make the wine with personality, body or very good structure, which will undoubtedly not leave indifferent.
As it is a more creamy and flavorful wine, we can harmonize with cuisine with a high gustatory power. Ideal with stewed fish dishes, suquets, white meats with light sauces, broth lobster rice, etc.
Aura Selección Parcela Avutarda is a white wine from the D.O. Wheel made by Bodegas Aura. It is a single varietal from Verdejo.
The grapes used come from the winery's most special plot, the one that is treated with the utmost care: Paruta Avutarda.
The strains are worked and cared for very carefully. These are grown so that the bunches are not directly exposed to sunlight, but at the same time they are sought to be in an airy position that makes them ripen in the best possible way.
The grape harvest is carried out completely manually and the transport to the winery is carried out with small boxes to preserve the quality of the grape and prevent the grains from breaking.
After the various winemaking processes, which are carried out according to the traditional method, it undergoes a slight aging of between four and five months in new French, American and Hungarian oak barrels.
Recently integrated into the Sogrape group. The winery was founded in 2000. Currently it is part of the same group Santiago Ruiz (Rías Baixas) and Bodegas Lan (La Rioja).
