TASTING NOTE
Colour

Pale yellow with straw highlights.

AROMA:

Elegant with many nuances. Notes of tropical fruits, honey with a mineral background.

TASTE:

Complex and structured. Silky in palate with hints of melon and real wood. Long and balanced.

MATCHING
Fantastic with a "Rape a la marinera", sole at meniere style, Roman-style squid, cuttlefish, mussels with chips or a typical rice from Empordà.
WHO CAN CONTRACT
Deeply establisehd in the Mendoza soils, created with the land spirit, Argento expresses the essence of the Modern Argentina. In 1998 they began to take profit of the great Malbec grape potential. The winemaker's team proposed to reveal its vibrant and velvet character, together with the intese flavours from Andes. Following the original view of Malbec, they also produce Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay and Pinot Grigio.

The Empordà appellation of origin is located in the northeastern part of Catalonia. The territory is distributed between two counties and 55 municipalities. 35 municipalities belong to the Alt Empordà and 20 are in the Baix Empordà. The average annual production is 65,000 hectoliters of wine with a planted vineyard area of approximately 2,000 hectares. At the beginning the appellation was called Empordà-Costa Brava, in 2006 the indication Costa Brava was eliminated.
