It is a wine with a beautiful golden hue and greenish reflections.
It presents intense aromas of variety evolution reminiscent of candied orange peel and dried apricots, accompanied by balsamic notes ( fennel ) and elegant nuances of kerosene. Of marked character and personality.
In the mouth it is a glyceric wine, fatty and balanced, tasty and well integrated acidity. It presents a great aromatic persistence in the mouth, with a powerful finish and great liveliness.
The Empordà appellation of origin is located in the northeastern part of Catalonia. The territory is distributed between two counties and 55 municipalities. 35 municipalities belong to the Alt Empordà and 20 are in the Baix Empordà. The average annual production is 65,000 hectoliters of wine with a planted vineyard area of approximately 2,000 hectares. At the beginning the appellation was called Empordà-Costa Brava, in 2006 the indication Costa Brava was eliminated.
