Intense in savour, reminds fresh apples and toasted almonds and with body. Very clean and powerful, this creamy cava is dry, tasty and soft as well. To be mentioned its gentleness of mousse, intense and rounded flavour, with moderate acidity and long lasting taste-persistence. Well structured, rounded, with an elegant and long end of mouth, perfectly assembling ageing and fruity aromas. Wide retro- nose, powerful and complex. No sugar added due to its strong and attractive personality.
The Empordà appellation of origin is located in the northeastern part of Catalonia. The territory is distributed between two counties and 55 municipalities. 35 municipalities belong to the Alt Empordà and 20 are in the Baix Empordà. The average annual production is 65,000 hectoliters of wine with a planted vineyard area of approximately 2,000 hectares. At the beginning the appellation was called Empordà-Costa Brava, in 2006 the indication Costa Brava was eliminated.
