Aromas of white fruit (baked apple, pear), dried flowers, some hints of pastry, bread and roasted nuts.
The flavour is silky passing in the mouth, with finely composed of carbonic, dry but oily, balanced in the overall grade and end-acidity in the mouth slightly aniseed-balsamic.
The Empordà appellation of origin is located in the northeastern part of Catalonia. The territory is distributed between two counties and 55 municipalities. 35 municipalities belong to the Alt Empordà and 20 are in the Baix Empordà. The average annual production is 65,000 hectoliters of wine with a planted vineyard area of approximately 2,000 hectares. At the beginning the appellation was called Empordà-Costa Brava, in 2006 the indication Costa Brava was eliminated.
