WHO CAN CONTRACT
In 1986 was established the brand Foss Marai, the natural development of an activity where the wine has the origin at the region of Valdeobbiadene, at the beggining of the 70's. Carlo Biasiotto and their family, actual owners of the cellar, have fueled the company, playing an important role on the italian sparkling wines market, both national and international level. The continuous improvement is on of the keys to their success.

The Empordà appellation of origin is located in the northeastern part of Catalonia. The territory is distributed between two counties and 55 municipalities. 35 municipalities belong to the Alt Empordà and 20 are in the Baix Empordà. The average annual production is 65,000 hectoliters of wine with a planted vineyard area of approximately 2,000 hectares. At the beginning the appellation was called Empordà-Costa Brava, in 2006 the indication Costa Brava was eliminated.
