We can see an intense straw yellow colour, very brightly and with an intense carbonic.
The nose is intense and complex, combining candied fruit and baked apple aromas, with nuances of tobacco. Almost 20% of reserve wines are included in the blend, providing a perfect balance and a very nice aromatic complexity.
The blend of Pinot Noir picked in different locations and in different years gives it fruitiness and roundness. The long period where the wine is left on the lees gives it a great deal of maturity. The palate is well rounded with fresh lively notes of plums.
The Empordà appellation of origin is located in the northeastern part of Catalonia. The territory is distributed between two counties and 55 municipalities. 35 municipalities belong to the Alt Empordà and 20 are in the Baix Empordà. The average annual production is 65,000 hectoliters of wine with a planted vineyard area of approximately 2,000 hectares. At the beginning the appellation was called Empordà-Costa Brava, in 2006 the indication Costa Brava was eliminated.
