A pale straw yellow colour and very sparkling. Very small and prolonged bubbles.
Secondary and tertiary aromas, through a clear predominance of the latter which evidence its lenghty aging.
A long pleasant passing through the mouth with a clean and quality retro-taste. Its low residual sugar content with a moderate alcohol content and an average total acidity provide this cava with a high level bouquet.
The Empordà appellation of origin is located in the northeastern part of Catalonia. The territory is distributed between two counties and 55 municipalities. 35 municipalities belong to the Alt Empordà and 20 are in the Baix Empordà. The average annual production is 65,000 hectoliters of wine with a planted vineyard area of approximately 2,000 hectares. At the beginning the appellation was called Empordà-Costa Brava, in 2006 the indication Costa Brava was eliminated.
