This excellent Shiraz has a deep brick red colour with an intense maroon and purple hue.
Intense nose with notes of lifted sweet spice reminiscent of pepper and mint, with black fruits characteristic of cranberries and wild cherries. Medium bodied and well structured with a refreshing acidity and sturdy sweet fruits.
Black fruits on the fore palate lengthening to infused cranberries and sweet plum integrated with velvety tannins.
The Empordà appellation of origin is located in the northeastern part of Catalonia. The territory is distributed between two counties and 55 municipalities. 35 municipalities belong to the Alt Empordà and 20 are in the Baix Empordà. The average annual production is 65,000 hectoliters of wine with a planted vineyard area of approximately 2,000 hectares. At the beginning the appellation was called Empordà-Costa Brava, in 2006 the indication Costa Brava was eliminated.
