Colour: Clean and bright. Intense red color with maroon reflections, with good layer intensity. Nice to see.
Aroma: In the nose, it is presented with all the complexity and aromatic intensity, where from the beginning you seduce you from the first contact in the cup. The olfactory sensations of black fruits are expressed, where blackberries, blueberries and cassis are undisputed, all perfectly assembled with cocoa powder aromas on the back. Lightweight, spicy and mineral souvenirs appear; We find notes of rosemary, black tea and very subtly tobacco. In short, this is a wine in which the word complexity can be written in uppercase.
Taste: Very well structured and very lively mouth entry. The black fruits return to express themselves; where undoubtedly blackberries, blueberries and plums take center stage in their passage through their mouths. Present but sensitively delicate tannins, where with a intoxicating balance it provides perfect vivacity, breadth and persistence; all marvelously combined with remarkable aromas of wood. We have before a wine, where personality and know-how are palpable in all its fullness.
A wine that fits perfectly with noble meat dishes and neutral elaborations, where you can accompany any process of grill, oven and iron.

Winery founded in 1999 in a small warehouse in Vilafranca del Penedès. Laurent Corrió, biochemist and oenologist by profession, runs the company with his wife, enologist Irene Alemany. After an extensive experience of Laurent and Irene elaborating in Burgundy, Irene's father encouraged them to wine in the Penedès.
They have the vineyards in Lavern planted on a gentle slope of 5 to 15%. They cultivate the varieties Merlot (24 years, 4 ha), Cabernet Sauvignon with 26 years of age (4 ha) and Cariñena of 70 years (0.75 ha). They drive the vineyard with severe production restrictions, thus achieving a higher phenolic concentration in the berries. On the other hand, they have carried out deep geological studies of each of the plots, in order to obtain a better knowledge of the terrain, its potential and the ability to adapt the strain.
The winery is located in the center of Vilafranca del Penedès where, in the purest style of 'garage wine', they vinify by varieties and batches in stainless steel tanks of different volumes, 2,200, 3,800, 5,200, 500 and 300 liters. The total production is about 10,000 bottles.
