Colour

Clean, clear and bright. Cherry color with garnet reflections, and where it has an intensity of medium - high layer. Very nice to look at.

AROMA:

On the nose is elegance and seduction personified. The fragrant aromas of red fruit, spices (where licorice predominates) and hints of aromatic herbs come into harmony.

TASTE:

Mouth where the viscerality is transformed into balance. Energetic and vibrant palate, and where there are integrated tannins, elegant and with good volume. Long, delicate and persistent finish.

A tremendously versatile gastronomically speaking wine. We can accompany it from the most complex and laborious meat dishes such as roasts, stewed pork feet, veal with mushrooms, fricandó and leg and tripe. Certainly greasy fish dishes, such as a pil pil cod or garlic muslin, cheeses, sausages, etc.

The winery is located in Tudela de Duero, a town near Valladolid whose wine-growing heritage dates back to 1562, when Philip II exempted it from paying tribute for the quality of its vines. There, a Castilian mansion from the 17th century houses the aging rooms and the wine rack. As a counterpoint, since 2004 the elaboration takes place in a modern and functional building that allows the grapes to be transferred by gravity to the fermentation tanks.

The vineyard area covers 80 hectares in various payments, planted mainly with Tempranillo and Syrah. The clay-calcareous soils predominate and the yields are between 3,000 and 5,000 kilograms per hectare. The vineyard is cultivated in ecological, in the context of a harsh continental climate with low rainfall.
