It has an intense cherry red colour with garnet edge. Clean and bright.
Its aroma is reminiscent of ripe berries and fruit compote with light notes of coffee and cacao are highly integrated.
The palate is fleshy, flavourful with a predominance of ripe fruit and sweet tannins, toasted background.
The Empordà appellation of origin is located in the northeastern part of Catalonia. The territory is distributed between two counties and 55 municipalities. 35 municipalities belong to the Alt Empordà and 20 are in the Baix Empordà. The average annual production is 65,000 hectoliters of wine with a planted vineyard area of approximately 2,000 hectares. At the beginning the appellation was called Empordà-Costa Brava, in 2006 the indication Costa Brava was eliminated.
