Cherry red, medium-high layer.
Easy to perceive mineral notes and ripe red fruits. Notes of wood, leather and smoked that denotes aging. The fruit becomes candied and the minerality increases.
In palate it is shown easy and soft, with and astringence that does not bother and that invites to drink again. Notes of wood appears as in nose. Long aftertaste. Moderate intensity.
The Empordà appellation of origin is located in the northeastern part of Catalonia. The territory is distributed between two counties and 55 municipalities. 35 municipalities belong to the Alt Empordà and 20 are in the Baix Empordà. The average annual production is 65,000 hectoliters of wine with a planted vineyard area of approximately 2,000 hectares. At the beginning the appellation was called Empordà-Costa Brava, in 2006 the indication Costa Brava was eliminated.
